Notes:

This device adds 512k of non-contended (fast) RAM to any Sinclair QL, bringing the total RAM up to 640k. Using the switch accessible through the expansion slot, it can also be completely disabled, putting the QL back into factory 128k configuration (for software that doesn't work with more than the standard 128K of RAM). The device plugs into the existing CPU socket and requires one extra wire to be soldered to the right hand side of resistor R7 on the QL's motherboard, so a little soldering is required. 

Note that the QL RAM QuintupLer is not compatible with most external RAM expansions (or expansions that include extra RAM as one of their features). Once fitted, the QuintupLer should never need to be physically removed - instead, it can simply be switched off when not required.
